Toubkal™

Some heritage shouts; this one keeps its voice low. Toubkal is built from the black-and-cream diamond weave of the Middle Atlas — the pattern Amazigh women have worked into wool for centuries, no dye needed, only the natural contrast of the fleece. We cut it into a worker jacket so it reads as easily in a European street as on a mountain road. The most Moroccan thing here is also the most wearable.

Cut and finished by hand in a Moroccan atelier. The patterned cloth is matched panel to panel — body, sleeves and collar aligned so the diamonds run unbroken — then grounded with washed-denim facings and square snaps set by hand. Small shifts in the weave and wash are the signature of hand production, not a fault.

Body in a dense Amazigh diamond jacquard — raised and tactile — in undyed black and ecru. Contrast facings in washed charcoal denim with a dry hand. Black woven lining. Square antique-silver snap buttons.

The diamond — the eye, protection, the feminine — repeated the way it appears on Middle Atlas looms and Beni Ourain weavings. Carried in the natural black and cream of the wool itself, exactly as the artisans have kept it for generations.
