Skoura™

Skoura is an oasis of palms standing in red earth — green and warm at once. This jacket carries that meeting of colours: olive and rose worked into deep brown, in the raised chenille weave that Moroccan looms use for the pieces meant to be touched. It is the warmest thing we make, and the one people reach for first when the light turns low.

Cut and finished by hand in a Moroccan atelier. The chenille tapestry is matched panel to panel so the bands and diamonds run true across body, sleeves and collar; satin ribbons are set into the weave and each ornate button fixed by hand. The pile shifts slightly as it catches light — the mark of a woven, hand-built piece, not a printed one.

Diamonds, stepped pyramids and comb motifs from Amazigh weaving — protection, the mountains, the loom itself — carried in the earth-and-olive palette of the southern oases and worked with the artisans who keep these patterns alive.
